Girls Exploring Math (GEM) is series of classes for girls interested in learning more math in a fun and supportive environment.  All classes will emphasize finding joy in mathematics.  Student need not be math whizzes already; the main prerequisite is enthusiasm.

Our 3rd and 4th grade classes will use the Beast Academy curriculum as a foundation, using hands-on activities, games, and puzzles to solidify math concepts.  

We anticipate offering a similar 5th grade class in the future, but for now, 5th grade students are welcome in the 4th grade class or the middle school class. Please contact Kelli if you would like to discuss which choice would be more appropriate for your child.

Our middle school class will focus on general problem solving and exposure to some unusual math topics, with the specific material tailored to student interests.
